i'm inclined to say that lamont is literate...but i'm sure he's seen all too many times the exact scenario he describes in this piece
i'm near tears everytime i hear this piece because the truth is real and the reality of this piece is much too true
make ur decisions wisely, young folks...no one's to say you can't have everything...play ball and be literate...no pro ever made it beyond the court without knowing what his contract says

I think that this youtube video is very sad. I think it's sad because the teachers kept passing him even though he didn't know how to read or write.
